Hey!!cant play generals online!! Age requirement notice problem!! wierd!!

when i go to the multiplayer screen,then select online,after that when i enter my details &date of birth and click create account or login,i get this age requirement notice stating that i should be atleast 13 years or older to play this game online,although i enter my correct DOB & i am 24 years old,i still get the same problem,even without entering any details if i just click the create account or login screen it shows the same notice and i can't proceed further.i am very frustrated and want to play it!! Please help & tell me any way to fix this?!

Has anyone gone through a similar problem here?! even the ea support is useless ,not been able to resolve this...

Pretty sure the age thing is linked to the master account used on the initial login, not any sub account player accounts (if that makes sense). That is the age recorded when the game was registered.
Which generals game is it?
Oh and long shot but check your computer date and time is right.
